Notes

Takayuki Hattori is a classically trained composer and arranger for Japanese Media. Famous for Gundam The Origin, Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Martian Successor Nadesico and NHK Taiga Drama Sanada Maru. He combines various orchestral styles of writing from Golden Age Film Music to modern contemporary Film music and employs elements of Jazz, Rock and Hiphop in his music. Son of composer Katsuhisa Hattori, grandson of composer Ryoichi Hattori, husband of former classical violinist Eri Okamoto and father of classical violinist Mone Hattori. In 1989 he arranged an album of Final Fantasy music together with his father Katsuhisa Hattori, performed by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. In 1995 he recorded with the Moscow International Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus for KURA: Symphonic Suite. In 2003 he recorded with the NHK Symphony Orchestra and Chorus for NHK Taiga Drama Shinsengumi. In 2016 he recorded with the NHK Symphony Orchestra for NHK Taiga Drama Sanada Maru.
